Changes with Viby on an adopted site

Use this feature to change texts, images, or pages of a site that was not born with vibe technology but was taken over by glacom.AI.

How it works

Viby acts as a simplified control panel over your current site. If you want to change a product price, update a shop's opening hours, or replace a service photo, just ask Viby and it will apply the change.

Since the site was not born "vibe", the ease of editing depends on how it was originally built. The first changes serve precisely to understand what can be changed quickly and what takes more time. For technology details, see viby.

What you need to do

1. Locate the element you want to change (a text, an image, or a section).
2. Request the change from Viby by clearly explaining what to replace.
3. Check the result online to verify that the change is correct.

What glacom® does

The glacom® system analyzes the structure of your adopted site and tries to map the content to allow Viby to intervene without breaking the graphic layout.

Limits

Not everything is instantly editable. If the original site has a very rigid or obsolete structure, some structural changes might not be possible via Viby. In these cases, you need to evaluate a migration.

Frequent problems

• Viby cannot change a text? → That content is probably locked in the original structure of the site.
• The image appears distorted after the change? → Proportions depend on the original site container: upload an image with the same dimensions as the previous one.
• Can I create an entire page from scratch? → Yes, but the graphic appearance will depend on the templates available in your adopted site.
