Real-time external data

This feature allows your assistant to read information that changes often, so it can always provide updated answers.

How it works

Some data cannot be saved in a fixed memory because it varies every minute. For example: the price of a product that changes based on the offer, the opening hours of an office today, the availability of a hotel room or the shipping status of an order.

Instead of storing this information, glacom.AI asks your system directly at the exact moment the customer asks the question. This way, the assistant never answers with old data.

What you need to do

1. Identify which data in your business changes frequently.
2. Configure the connection between your system and glacom.AI. To understand how to do it, check the integrazioni page.

What glacom® does

The system queries your external data source in real time, retrieves the specific requested information and transforms it into a natural answer for the customer.

Limits

The system can only answer if your external software is reachable and active. If your system is offline or slow to respond, the assistant will not be able to provide the updated data.

Frequent problems

• The assistant gives old data? → Verify that the connection is active and that the data is updated in your system.
• The system cannot find the information? → Check if the integration is configured correctly in integrazioni.
• What happens if my software is slow? → The assistant might wait a few more seconds before answering.

Not available from the app: configuring external data requires technical access to the management panel.
