Initial Training

This phase prepares your assistant before customers start using it. It ensures that answers are correct on the most important topics.

How it works

The goal is not absolute perfection, but confidence on critical points. For example, if you sell a product for 50 euros and take bookings from 9:00 to 18:00, the assistant must know how to answer these two pieces of information correctly before going online. Everything else will be refined through real use by your customers.

What you need to do

To complete the initial training, follow this checklist:

  1. Upload main content: enter the basic information about your business by following the guide on Writing content.
  2. Create critical FAQ: define answers to questions that cannot have errors, as explained in Faq.
  3. Set the tone: decide if the assistant should be formal or colloquial in Customization.
  4. Configure operator handoff: establish when the assistant should pass the conversation to a person in Operator.
  5. Activate channels: connect the assistant to email, social media or other tools via Integrations.
  6. Run tests: test the system by asking trial questions, as described in Verification.

What glacom® does

The glacom® team supports you in the final check. Together you will verify that critical points are covered and that the assistant behaves as you want before go-live.

Limits

Initial training does not make the assistant omniscient. If a customer asks a question about a topic you haven't uploaded, the assistant cannot invent the answer.

Frequent problems

  • The assistant doesn't answer a specific question? → Check if you included that information in the content or FAQ.
  • The tone isn't right? → Modify the customization settings and run another test.
  • Do I have to wait until it's perfect to go online? → No, it just needs to be reliable on critical topics; the rest improves with continuous training.

From the app

You can monitor the first tests and verify the assistant's answers in real time.
