Writing a good change request

This guide explains how to request changes to your site clearly to get exactly the result you want.

How it works

To modify your site via glacom.AI, you must be specific. If you ask to "improve a product price", the system doesn't know if you want to lower it, change its color or move its position. If you write "change the price of product X from 20€ to 15€", the change will be immediate and correct.

Here are the rules for writing effective requests: - Identify the element: specify exactly what needs to change (a button, a title, an image). - Describe the final result: explain how the element should look or what it should do after the change. - One change per request: don't make long lists. Ask for one thing, verify it is done, then move to the next. - Say what NOT to touch: if you want to change the text of a paragraph but keep the same color, specify it.

Request examples

Wrong request (too vague) Correct request (specific)
"Make the site look better" "Change the color of the Contact Us button to green"
"Move the contacts" "Move the contacts section below the booking form"
"The text is not convincing" "Replace the phrase 'We are the best' with 'We offer certified services'"
"Fix it" "Make the home page title larger and bold"

What you need to do

  1. Identify the element you want to change on your site.
  2. Write the request following the rules above.
  3. Send the change via the glacom.AI platform.
  4. Check the result and, if necessary, request a small adjustment.

What glacom® does

The system analyzes your request, identifies the corresponding part of the code and applies the change in real time to your page.

Limits

The system cannot interpret subjective tastes or abstract concepts (such as "modern", "elegant" or "professional"). If the request is too generic, the change might not be applied or might not meet your expectations.

Frequent problems

  • The change is not what I wanted? → Be more specific: indicate the exact element and the precise color or text to use.
  • Can I ask for 10 changes in a single message? → No, to avoid errors it is better to send one request for each single change.
  • The system changed things I didn't want? → Always specify in the request what must remain unchanged.

Tip

If you don't know how to describe a graphic change, check the grafica section to understand which elements you can modify.

Warning

Avoid terms like "more", "less" or "better". Use certain terms like "red", "centered", "above" or "below".

From the app

You can send quick change requests directly from the app to update texts or prices in real time.
