What to prepare

This guide explains which materials to collect to allow glacom.AI to accurately reconstruct your business processes.

How it works

The more information you provide, the more precise the service will be. Imagine you have to explain to a new employee how to handle a booking: you show them where to click, which prices to apply, and who must approve the request. The same happens with glacom®.

Example: if you want to automate the management of a shop's hours, it is not enough to say "manage the shifts", but you need to show the Excel sheet you use today and explain who decides on holidays.

What you need to do

To start, collect and send the following elements:

  1. Screenshots: capture every screen of the software you use today for that activity.
  2. Workflows: write down the steps you follow. Example: "I receive the email, check warehouse availability, send the offer".
  3. Sample data: provide real files, tables, or documents (even with dummy data) that you use daily.
  4. Operational organizational chart: specify who does what in the company and who has the authority to validate an operation.
  5. Checklists: if you have checklists that your employees follow, include them.

You can learn more about the next steps by consulting the fasi page.

What glacom® does

The glacom® team analyzes the received material to map your processes. This analysis is used to design the automation and plan any migrazione dati without losing critical information.

Limits

glacom® cannot guess undocumented or "unwritten" steps. If an operation only happens verbally between colleagues and is not reported, the system will not be able to replicate it.

Frequent problems

  • What happens if I don't have screenshots? → Describe the steps in writing in a very detailed way.
  • Can I send confidential documents? → Yes, you can blur sensitive data or use dummy examples.
  • Is it mandatory to do everything at once? → No, but incomplete material extends the analysis times in fasi.

From the app

Not available from the app: the submission of preparation materials takes place through the communication channels agreed with your consultant.
