The words you encounter in this documentation, explained in a line or two. In alphabetical order.

Annalist: the assistant that answers questions about your data (conversations, calls, ratings) in natural language. See Annalist.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization): getting found by answer engines: the AIs that answer the question directly instead of listing links. See AEO/GEO.

Assistant: the conversational AI for you and your team, which knows your company. See Assistant.

Knowledge base: the set of contents (documents, FAQ, site pages) from which the bot takes the answers.

Callbot: the assistant that answers the phone with a natural voice.

Chatbot: the assistant that answers in writing on the site, WhatsApp and other channels.

Chunk: a block of text into which a document is divided for searching. See Chunk.

Embedding: the transformation of a text into a comparable "meaning": phrases that say the same thing result as close. See Embedding.

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization): the sister of AEO: optimizing content so that generative AIs cite your company in their answers. See AEO/GEO.

Handoff (transfer to operator): the moment when the conversation passes from the bot to a real person. See Passaggio a operatore.

Indexing: the preparation of a newly uploaded content so it becomes searchable by the bot.

Local SEO: visibility on search engines for those searching in your area: business profile, maps, reviews. See Local SEO.

RAG: the method by which the bot searches your content and answers only with what it finds. See How it works.

Scraping: the automatic reading of your site pages to use them as a source for the bot.
