Assistant¶
The chatbot works for your customers. The Assistant works for you and your collaborators: an AI to converse with, that knows your company and helps you with your daily work.
How it works¶
Open the Assistant and write as you would to an experienced colleague: "prepare a draft email for the customer who asked for the warehouse quote", "summarize these minutes in ten lines", "what does our price list say about delivery times?".
The Assistant responds in the conversation, keeps the thread of the discussion, and you can ask follow-up questions, refine, or ask for variants. The interface is the one you already know: a chat, with the conversation history at your fingertips.
The difference compared to generic AIs: your Assistant knows your company, because it draws from the same knowledge base as your bots, and runs on the glacom® platform: self-hosted, without tokens, zero retention. What you write stays yours.
What you can do with it¶
- Search company information: "what is the discount for retailers?"
- Write and rewrite: emails, offers, product descriptions, posts.
- Summarize and translate: documents, minutes, long conversations.
- Reason about a text you paste: "what is missing in this offer?"

Limits¶
- The Assistant knows what is in the knowledge base and what you write to it: it does not know company facts that were never put in writing.
- It is a work tool, not a decision maker: drafts must be reviewed before sending, important data verified.
- Each collaborator accesses with their own account: those who do not have access to the panel do not have the Assistant.
Frequent problems¶
- It responds generically on a company topic → probably that topic is not in the sources: add it, see Adding what is missing.
From the app
The Assistant is also in the app: same conversations, same history, from your phone.
