Data Migration

Move information from your old systems to glacom.AI. You need this when you want your services to already know your customers, your products, or your history.

How it works

We take the data where it is now and adapt it to the new format. For example: if you have a list of 500 products with prices and delivery times in an old file, we extract them, clean them, and upload them to glacom.AI so the assistant knows exactly what you sell and when you deliver.

To make sure everything is correct, we perform cross-checks. If your old system says you have 1,200 customers, we check that glacom.AI also sees exactly 1,200.

What you need to do

1. Provide access or the files where the current data is stored.
2. Confirm the numbers: check that the totals and counts match what you know.
3. Validate real cases: choose a few concrete examples (a specific customer, a particular order) and verify that the information migrated correctly.

What glacom® does

• Extracts data from your sources.
• Transforms information to make it readable by glacom.AI services.
• Performs numerical checks to ensure nothing is missing during the transition.

Limits

Migration moves data, but it does not correct errors present in the old system: if an email address is misspelled in your old database, it will be misspelled on glacom.AI too. It is not possible to migrate data from systems that do not allow extraction (closed software without export).

Frequent problems

• Numbers don't match? → There are probably duplicate data in the old system that glacom® merged for cleaning.
• Some information is missing? → Check if that data was present and complete in the original source.
• Data is outdated? → Migration is a snapshot of the moment: new data entered into the old system after the transition does not move automatically.

Not available from the app: migration is a technical operation managed during the setup phase.
